Alexandra is a native Russian speaker from Moscow, Russia. She started her career as a nurse assisting physical therapy patients after obtaining her degree from the Moscow Medical College. However, over the years, she had also developed a passion for teaching and has been working with students of all ages – from little kids to retirement-age adults – for over 20 years.
Alexandra has been teaching Russian since 2005. She has provided private instruction to students of varying ages as well as taught classes locally at the West Chester Night School and Cornerstone High School. Her specialty is teaching Russian as a foreign language to beginner students. In addition to teaching, Alexandra works as an English-to-Russian translator and interpreter as well as a Russian voiceover specialist.
Alexandra has two daughters, Cindy and Anya, who both work as Assistants at GKRS. She has been teaching Russian Language at the Golden Key Russian School since 2015 although recently her focus has been more on individual private language instruction.
