She received her MS degree in Home Economics from the Alexander Herzen Teachers’ Training University in St. Petersburg, Russia. For the last 20+ years, Tatiana has been working as a children’s teacher in various subjects, ranging from Home Economics, to Math and Computer Science.
In 2011, Tatiana successfully completed Robotics Education courses with Sergey Filippov, an accomplished Russian Robotics instructor, and won 1st place in the final teachers’ competition. Since then, she has also added Robotics to her teaching repertoire. In St. Petersburg, Tatiana taught Robotics at the Presidential Physics and Mathematics Lyceum #239 and at the Palace of Children's Creativity "Anichkov". Tatiana is very proud of many of her students who won different Russian national robotics competitions every year.
Tatiana has a son, Egor, who is a past winner of the World Robotics Olympiad (WRO) in the open category in Jakarta, Indonesia, and enjoys STEM as much as his mother. In fact, he frequently comes in to help her with conducting her classes at GKRS. We are excited to welcome Tatiana and Egor to our program here at GKRS!
